Boston Nightlife
Boston has a vibrant - and varied - club scene. Looking for martinis and sophisticated conversation? Then it's the Modern in Fenway. Prefer an authentic Irish Pub with Guinness and live music? You've got choices: the Burren in Sommerville or several that are in shadows of Faneuil Hall. Want reggae, techno, disco or "classic" rock? Boston has something for everyone; and if you prefer to just go where the wind takes you, there are some great areas where you can just wander from club to club.
Both Harvard Square and Faneuil hall are well-lit, well-populated and safe areas for enjoying the best of Boston nightlife. Dozens of restaurants allow you to enjoy a meal before beginning the party. The Theater District along the Esplanade has a number clubs and restaurants as well. Prices are generally a little higher here, and the words "Euro" and "upscale" seem fitting in most cases. If you prefer the ambience of a neighborhood with a little more attitude, head over to the famous Lansdowne Street in Fens.
