Boston Children's Museum
The Children's Museum is a great "hand's on" way for children - even the very youngest - to pass a delightful afternoon and learn about everything from the laws of nature, to cultural diversity, to the human body. Oh, we can't forget to mention the bubbles! The Bubble-making machines are just one of the most popular stops in this wonderful place filled with things to do, climb, ride and build.
After your kids have climbed the walls, ridden "Boats Afloat" along the channel and built castles and space ships with giant Lego blocks they may be ready for something a little more sedate. Storytime is presented twice a week in 'Playspace'. Just for toddlers and pre-schoolers, Playspace has a variety of safe, developmental activities, and the adjoining Parent Resource Room provides a quiet place for nursing or just reading a book to your little one. Kids 3 to 8 will head straight toward the construction zone and the two-story climbing maze.
Other exhibits include AIRplay, Alice's Wonderland, and the Kitchen Science Experiments. So when your little ones have had enough history and monuments, head over to the Children's Museum for a great time for the whole family.
